Humpback whales are animals that live and travel in groups of up to 10. Their average lengths can exceed 16 meters, and weigh over 40 tons. The Humpback Whale characterizes themselves to have a great repertoire of sounds. Some can last half an hour or more. The song is produced specially by the males and is part of the loving courtship.

The Humpback Whales are a species of marine mammals in extinction danger. Ecuador considers to be privileged to house their yearly visit.
